We are all born with blood, but some of us keep it a secret, letting it be known only to ourselves behind closed bathroom doors. The only blood shed not out of violence or trauma.

Menstruation has been the subject of myth, misunderstanding, and stigma for much of human history. This has made the development of menstrual products and birth control challenging to track and rife with inaccuracies.

This museum, situated between a grouping of mausoleums in Swan Point Cemetery, houses the physical manifestations of patented menstrual products and birth control.
